Treatment Options for Infertile Couples
Husband's washed sperm are inseminated into the uterus. 750 IUI's from past 2 years with a success rate of 15 – 20% per cycle Eggs are removed from the female partner and fertilized with husband's sperm. After fertilization, embryos will be formed and put back into the uterus of female partner, success rate is 35 – 40%. This is useful for patients with block fallopian tube and endrometriosis (blood filled cyst in pelvis) Azoospermia (0 sperm count) can become father of his own child with the technique called Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection. In this technique sperm are directly released into the egg of the female partner and the fertilization rate is 85 – 90%.
